The Microwave Application Laboratory (MWAL) of Hongik University was founded in March 1994 by Professor Yisok Oh. The research interests of the MWAL include polarimetric scatterometer measurements, scattering models and inversion algorithms, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) calibration techniques, antennas, radar system design and calibration, and SAR image applications.
